Pop Art Animals

For their Pop Art unit 7th grade studied Andy Warhol.  In the 1980's Warhol was commissioned to create a series of paintings to raise awareness about endangered animals.  7th grade studied this series and also discussed what it means to accept a commission.  Inspired by Warhol's work, students chose an animal to paint in his Pop Art style.  This was a new lesson this year and I was blown away by the results.
