3rd grade color theory

3rd grade is studying complementary colors.  There are 3 sets of complementary colors, Red+Green, Yellow+Purple and Blue+Orange.  Complementary colors make each other look brighter so you will often find athletes uniforms in these colors.  For their first assignment 3rd grade designed their own uniforms for their favorite sports.

For their next assignment the kiddies drew indian corn and then colored their sketches in complementary color groupings.
