More Kente Cloth
3rd grade just completed a 2 month long unit on African Kente cloth. Students first made paper Kente weavings (posted earlier) then they moved on to weaving with a loom and yarn. Finally students made a silhouette painting using Kente cloth paper prints as clothing for their figures.
