Quilled Snowflakes

5th grade studied the English art of Quilling.  Quilling used to be a hobby of British women but now it is an art enjoyed by all.  Small pieces of paper are wrapped around a quill to create coils.  The coils are then arranged to create intricate images.  To simplify our lesson we used twist-ties instead of paper and the tips of our pencils as quills, talk about resourceful!
