Picasso Portraits

Second graders are just beginning to study Pablo Picasso.  We started by looking at some of his portraits and then created our own portraits in tribute.  Just like in the painting below, students paid careful attention to how Picasso divided the face and incorporated pattern in his painting.  The results are weird, wacky and wonderful, just like Picasso.
