Dale Chihuly Mania

4th and 5th grade have enthusiastically been studying Dale Chihuly.  Students started by watching a documentary about the glass artist and then did observational drawings of some of his bowls.  One class then made free form organic shape sculptures and another made hanging chandeliers.  I suspended all the chandeliers in our school entry and the results are spectacular!
