Kandinsky Circles

I do this lesson with 1st grade every year and it is certainly one of my favorites.  Students examined the painting "Concentric Circles" by Wassily Kandinsky, take a look at it below.

Students then tried their hand at recreating Kandinsky's classic using oil pastel. The results are stunning.
