Chinese Ceramics Part I

5th grade just completed a unit on Chinese Ceramics.  Students created their own scratch art by sketching their vessels in oil pastel and then covering them with a layer of Gesso.  Students then used a toothpick to scratch off beautiful designs revealing the blue pastel underneath.
