Tessellation

Students examined the work of M.C. Escher who is famous for his tessellations.  In Latin, tessella is a small cubical piece of clay, stone or glass used to make mosaics.  Tessellaions are two-dimentional designs that repeat without gap or overlap.  Take a look at the impressive results.
